88.5 Aldermen; required attendance; loss of vote, interest. Sec. 5. Each alderman shall be required to attend all sessions of the council, and serve upon committees when appointed thereon. No alderman shall vote on any question in which he shall have a direct personal interest, but on all other questions he shall vote unless excused therefrom by a vote of 2/3 of the aldermen elect.
