103A.401 STATEWIDE WATER INFORMATION SYSTEM. The commissioner of natural resources, in cooperation with other state agencies including the Minnesota geologic survey, shall establish and maintain a statewide water information system to gather, process, and distribute information on the availability, distribution, quality, and use of waters of the state. Local, regional, and state governmental units and their officers and employees shall cooperate with the commissioner to implement and maintain the statewide water information system.
