103B.525 ESTABLISHING DISTRICT IN MORE THAN ONE COUNTY. Where the natural hydrologic boundaries of a proposed district extend into more than one county, the county boards of the counties affected may form a joint county authority and establish and maintain a lake improvement district jointly or cooperatively as provided in section 471.59. The district may be initiated by the joint county authority in the same manner as by a county board under section 103B.515 by petition to the affected county boards. History: 1990 c 391 art 2 s 35
