103B.541 PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. Subdivision 1. Publishing establishment order. If a lake improvement district is established, the county board, or joint county authority issuing the order establishing the district, shall publish the order once in the official newspapers of counties where the district is located and file the order with the secretary of state, the Pollution Control Agency, and the commissioner of natural resources. Subd. 2. Effective date. Establishment of the lake improvement district is effective 30 days after publication or at a later date, if specified in the establishment order.
