103F.415 EXCESSIVE SOIL LOSS PROHIBITED. Subdivision 1. Prohibited activities. A person may not cause, conduct, contract for, or authorize an activity that causes excessive soil loss. Subd. 2. Agricultural land. A land occupier of agricultural land is not violating subdivision 1 if the occupier is farming by methods that implement the best practicable conservation practices. Subd. 3. Woodland. A land occupier who uses wooded land for pasture must ensure that proper management is used to prevent excessive soil loss due to overgrazing or cattle paths. History: 1990 c 391 art 6 s 60
