110A.09 PETITION; SIGNATURES. The petition must be signed by 50 percent of the landowners, except the holders of easements for electric or telephone transmission and distribution lines, within the area outside the limits of any city constituting the proposed district. If the proposed district includes any area within a city, the petition must be accompanied by a resolution of the governing body of the city requesting a specific area within the city be included within the proposed district. On each petition, set opposite the signature of each petitioner, shall be stated the petitioner's name and post office address and the location of land of which the petitioner is the owner.
