116J.578 BIOSCIENCE SUBSIDY. Any bioscience or biotechnology project financed in whole or in part by state appropriations or other public subsidies must document how and to what it extent the project will provide a benefit to consumers in the form of more affordable pricing of the products or services being publicly subsidized. The documentation must be reported to the committees of the legislature with responsibility for economic development and to committees with responsibility for finance. History: 2008 c 300 s 47
