123B.744 AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION. In any district in which instruction in agriculture is afforded, the board is authorized and empowered to purchase or otherwise acquire by condemnation proceedings as provided for acquiring schoolhouse sites in the name and in behalf of such district, a suitable tract of land either within or outside of the limits of such district to be used for the purpose of instruction, experimentation, and demonstration in agriculture. The provisions of this section shall apply as well to districts organized under special acts as under the general laws, notwithstanding any provisions or restrictions in the laws under which the districts are organized.
