125A.57 DEFINITION. Subdivision 1. Applicability. For the purposes of sections 125A.57 to 125A.60, the following terms have the meanings given them. Subd. 2. Assistive technology device. 'Assistive technology device' means any item, piece of equipment, or product system, whether acquired commercially off the shelf, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of a child with a disability.
