128D.04 DISTRICT LIKE INDEPENDENT DISTRICT; EXCEPTION. Such special independent school district shall have all the powers, privileges, duties, and obligations of independent school districts as provided by state laws except as follows or as otherwise provided by a special law or charter provision.
