136A.155 ADDITIONAL INSTITUTION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. A postsecondary institution is an eligible institution for purposes of sections 136A.15 to 136A.1702, if the institution: (1) meets the eligibility requirements under section 136A.103; or (2) is operated publicly or privately in another state, is approved by the United States Secretary of Education, and, as determined by the office, maintains academic standards substantially equal to those of comparable institutions operated in this state.
