136A.231 EDUCATION; POSTSECONDARY STUDENTS; WORK-STUDY PROGRAMS. The legislature has found and hereby declares that a state work-study program is in the best interests of the state in that such a program can (1) assist in meeting the financial needs of students (2) provide the opportunity for students to obtain valuable learning service experiences and (3) assist governmental and nonprofit service agencies by providing student assistance at low cost.
