136F.25 ABSENCE FOR CHEMICAL ABUSE TREATMENT. If a student is absent from a state college or university to participate in a chemical abuse treatment program licensed by the state, the student, upon request, shall remain on the roll in the educational program of the state college or university in which the student is enrolled, according to policies adopted by the board.
