138.84 FOLKLORE CENTER. Subdivision 1. Creation. There is created in the Minnesota Historical Society a center for the study of Minnesota folklife. Subd. 2. Director. The director of the center shall be the state folklorist who shall be a professional folklorist on the staff of the Minnesota Historical Society appointed by the director of the Minnesota Historical Society.
