144.2218 TRANSFERS OF INFORMATION TO OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. Information collected by the birth defects information system may be disseminated to a state or local government agency in Minnesota or another state solely for purposes consistent with sections 144.2215 to 144.2219, provided that the state or local government agency agrees to maintain the classification of the information as provided under section 144.2217. Information collected by other states consistent with sections 144.2215 to 144.2219 may be received by the commissioner of health and must be maintained according to section 144.2217.
