144H.02 LICENSURE REQUIRED. A person may not own or operate a prescribed pediatric extended care center in this state unless the person holds a temporary or current license issued under this chapter. A separate license must be obtained for each PPEC center maintained on separate premises, even if the same management operates the PPEC centers. Separate licenses are not required for separate buildings on the same grounds. A center shall not be operated on the same grounds as a child care center licensed under Minnesota Rules, chapter 9503.
