148F.06 VOLUNTARY TERMINATION. A license may be voluntarily terminated by the licensee at any time upon written notification to the board, unless a complaint is pending against the licensee. The notification must be received by the board prior to termination of the license for failure to renew. A former licensee may be licensed again only after complying with the relicensure following termination requirements under section 148F.065. For purposes of this section, the board retains jurisdiction over any licensee whose license has been voluntarily terminated and against whom the board receives a complaint for conduct occurring during the period of licensure.
