154.28 SYMBOLS; BARBER POLE. No person shall place a barber pole in a location that would create or tend to create the impression to the public that the business is a barber shop unless the operator holds a valid registration under this chapter. For the purposes of this section, 'barber pole' means a red and white or red, white, and blue striped vertical cylinder commonly recognized as a barber pole.
