169.4581 CRIMINAL CONDUCT ON SCHOOL BUS. Each local law enforcement agency shall adopt a written policy regarding procedures for responding to criminal incidents on school buses. In adopting a policy, each law enforcement agency shall consult with local school officials, with representatives of private companies that contract with school districts to provide transportation, and with parents of students. The policy must recognize that responding to reports of criminal conduct on school buses is the responsibility of law enforcement officials. History: 1994 c 647 art 12 s 26; 2023 c 25 s 81
