173.21 CHAPTER VIOLATIONS; MISDEMEANOR; INJUNCTIVE RELIEF. Any person who violates any provisions of sections 173.13 to 173.231 or any rules issued or adopted thereunder after notice thereof upon conviction is guilty of a misdemeanor. In addition thereto, the commissioner of transportation may seek injunctive relief in the district court of the county in which the nonconforming advertising device is located and require that either the advertising device conform or be removed.
