16A.091 ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT. (a) The commissioner of management and budget is responsible for the coordination, development, assessment, and communication of information, performance measures, planning, and policy concerning the state's future. (b) The commissioner must develop a statewide system of economic, social, and environmental performance measures. The commissioner must provide information to assist public and elected officials with understanding the status of these performance measures.
