16B.053 GRANTS. The commissioner may apply for, receive, and expend money made available from federal or other sources for the purposes of carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the commissioner under sections 16B.054 and 16B.055. All moneys received by the commissioner under sections 16B.054 and 16B.055 must be deposited in the state treasury and are appropriated to the commissioner for the purpose for which the moneys are received.
