17.351 DEFINITIONS. Subdivision 1. Applicability. The definitions in this section apply to sections 17.352 to 17.354. Subd. 2. [Repealed, 1996 c 310 s 1] Subd. 3. Fur-bearing animal. 'Fur-bearing animal' means a fox, mink, fitch, chinchilla, karakul, marten, nutria, or fisher that is the second or later generation raised in captivity. Subd. 4. Fur farmer. 'Fur farmer' means a person engaged in breeding, raising, producing, and marketing fur-bearing animals or the products of fur-bearing animals. History: 1985 c 44 s 1
