38.12 APPROPRIATIONS BY MUNICIPALITIES. The council of any city and the board of supervisors of any town having fairs of county and district agricultural societies or associations, who are members of the Minnesota State Agricultural Society, held within or in close proximity to their corporate limits, may appropriate money to the agricultural society or association.
