198.34 DEPOSIT OF RECEIPTS. Federal money received by the commissioner for the care of veterans in a veterans home must be deposited into a dedicated account in the state treasury and is appropriated to the commissioner for the operational needs of the veterans homes and the commissioner. Money paid to the commissioner by a veteran or by another person on behalf of a veteran for care in a veterans home must be deposited in the state treasury in a dedicated account and is appropriated to the commissioner for the operational needs of the veterans homes and the commissioner.
