216B.688 RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER STATE FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS. Except as otherwise provided for equipment optimization as specified in section 216B.687, a public utility implementing an approved mercury emissions-reduction plan is not required to undertake additional investments or incur additional operating or maintenance costs to reduce mercury at a unit included in a plan approved under section 216B.685 or 216B.6851.
