243.211 UNAUTHORIZED COMMUNICATION WITH PRISONERS. Every person who, not being authorized by law or by written permission from the commissioner of corrections, or by consent of the chief executive officer of a state correctional facility under the control of the commissioner of corrections, has any verbal communication with an inmate thereof, or brings into or conveys out of the facility any writing, clothing, food, tobacco, or other article whatsoever, to or from any inmate under sentence, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
