245.096 CHANGES TO GRANT PROGRAMS. Prior to implementing any substantial changes to a grant funding formula disbursed through allocations administered by the commissioner, the commissioner must provide a report on the nature of the changes, the effect the changes will have, whether any funding will change, and other relevant information, to the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction over human services. The report must be provided prior to the start of a regular session, and the proposed changes cannot be implemented until after the adjournment of that regular session. History: 2022 c 99 art 1 s 5
