246C.19 PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT REQUIRED. Any state institution under the direction of the executive board must not hire a new employee, whether the potential employee is certified for employment by the state Department of Management and Budget or otherwise selected, unless the potential employee provides verification to the head of the state institution or a designee, in a form determined by the executive board, that the potential employee has undergone physical examination and testing establishing that the potential employee is free of tuberculosis.
