253.24 TERMS OF PRISONER SENTENCE. A prisoner who is removed from or returned to a correctional facility under sections 253.20 to 253.26 must be held in the place to which the prisoner is removed or returned in accordance with the terms of the prisoner's original sentence unless discharged sooner and the period of removal must be counted as a part of the term of the prisoner's confinement.
