256B.194 FEDERAL PAYMENTS. The commissioner may require medical assistance and MinnesotaCare providers to provide any information necessary to determine Medicaid-related costs, and require the cooperation of providers in any audit or review necessary to ensure payments are limited to cost. This section does not apply to providers who are exempt from the provisions of the CMS final rule, published May 29, 2007, at Federal Register, Vol. 72, No. 100, governing payments to providers that are units of government. This section becomes effective when the CMS final rule goes into effect at the end of the moratorium imposed by Congress. History: 2008 c 363 art 17 s 12
