256B.7635 REIMBURSEMENT FOR EVIDENCE-BASED PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE HOME VISITS. Effective for services provided on or after January 1, 2018, prenatal and postpartum follow-up home visits provided by public health nurses or registered nurses supervised by a public health nurse using evidence-based models shall be paid $140 per visit. Evidence-based postpartum follow-up home visits must be administered by home visiting programs that meet the United States Department of Health and Human Services criteria for evidence-based models and are identified by the commissioner of health as eligible to be implemented under the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting program.
