260.752 APPLICABILITY. Unless otherwise stated, sections 260.751 to 260.835 and the federal Indian Child Welfare Act are applicable without exception in any child placement proceeding involving an Indian child where custody is granted to someone other than a parent or an Indian custodian. Nothing in sections 260.751 to 260.835 is intended to apply to custody actions between parents or between a parent and Indian custodian. History: 2023 c 16 s 1
