3.191 ALTERING ENGROSSED BILL. A person who fraudulently alters the engrossed copy or enrollment of a bill which has been passed by the legislature, with intent to procure its approval by the governor, certification by the secretary of state, or printing or publication by the printer of the statutes, in language different from that in which it was passed by the legislature, is guilty of a felony.
