3.3056 COMMITTEES; TASK FORCES. A legislative commission may appoint legislators to a committee, subcommittee, or task force to assist and advise the commission in carrying out its duties. With the consent of the speaker of the house and the Subcommittee on Committees of the senate, a commission may appoint legislators who are not members of the commission to the committee, subcommittee, or task force. The legislative commission must pay for any expenses of the committee, subcommittee, or task force out of funds appropriated to the legislative commission. History: 1996 c 470 s 1
