306.07 FRATERNAL CORPORATIONS TO TRANSFER LANDS FOR CEMETERY PURPOSES. A fraternal corporation organized under state law that acquired land upon which it established a cemetery before 1885 and that operated a cemetery after that date may convey to a corporation incorporated under state law to operate a public cemetery, any part of the cemetery that the corporation has not conveyed to individuals to be used for the burial of the dead. The corporation may also convey all its interest in any part of the cemetery that has previously been conveyed by the public cemetery association, without ownership or control of it, to individuals to be used for the burial of the dead.
