345.07 MONEY DEPOSITED, HOW DISPOSED OF. If the owner of the property sold, or the owner's legal representatives, at any time within five years after such money is deposited in the county treasury, shall furnish satisfactory evidence to the treasurer of the ownership thereof, the treasurer shall pay to the owner or representative the amount so deposited. If not so claimed within the time aforesaid, the money shall belong to the county, and be credited to its general revenue fund. History: (7304) RL s 2803; 1986 c 444
