366.27 FIREFIGHTERS' RELIEF; TAX LEVY. The town board of any town in this state having therein a platted portion on which resides 1,200 or more people, and wherein a duly incorporated firefighters' relief association is located may each year levy a tax not to exceed 0.00806 percent of estimated market value for the benefit of the relief association.
