383A.201 OFFICIALS NOT TO BE INTERESTED IN CONTRACTS. No Ramsey County official or the official's deputy, clerk, or employee and no commissioner for tax-forfeited lands or the commissioner's assistants, may have a personal financial interest (1) in a contract, work, labor, or business to which the county is a party or in which it is or may be interested, (2) or in the furnishing of an article to, or the purchase or sale of any real or personal property by the county, or of which the consideration, price, or expense is payable from the county treasury.
