383C.09 MEMBERS SERVING ON COMMISSIONS AND OTHER BOARDS. Notwithstanding the provisions of any law to the contrary in St. Louis County, the county board may elect for a term of one year two of its members to serve on any commission or any other board, except the civil service commission and board of education for the unorganized territory, now or hereafter created by law within the county and having charge of or jurisdiction over any county activities or institution supported in whole or in part by county tax revenues.
