383D.28 VETERANS' PREFERENCE. Nothing in sections 383D.21 to 383D.35 shall be construed to remove, limit, or extend the rights and preferences of veterans established by sections 197.455 and 197.46, except that the county board may enact rules relative to retirement age which shall apply to veterans on the same basis as other persons.
