387.34 COMPENSATION OF COMMISSIONERS. Each commissioner shall serve without pay, but the county board shall allow the secretary such compensation, not exceeding $200 per year, as it shall deem necessary and commensurate with the additional services rendered. The commission shall annually submit a budget to the board of county commissioners for approval, modification or rejection. The county shall pay all necessary expenses incurred by the commission within the budget and in the same manner as other county obligations are disbursed, from the general revenue.
