480.14 APPOINTMENT, COMPENSATION OF EMPLOYEES; COURT ADMINISTRATOR, EMPLOYEES NOT TO PRACTICE LAW. The court administrator, with the approval of the chief justice of the supreme court of this state, shall appoint and fix the compensation of such employees as are necessary to enable the administrator to perform the power and duties vested in the administrator. During the administrator's term of office or employment, neither the court administrator nor any employee shall engage directly or indirectly in the practice of law in this state.
