484.04 TESTING WRITS. Every writ or process issuing from a court of record shall be tested in the name of the presiding judge, be signed by the court administrator and sealed with the seal of the court, be dated on the day of its issue, and before delivery to the officer for service shall be endorsed by the court administrator with the name of the attorney or other person procuring the same; and, when no other time is fixed by law or authorized by the rules of practice, it shall be made returnable on the first day of the next succeeding term.
