550.39 EXEMPTION OF INSURANCE POLICIES. The net amount payable to any insured or to any beneficiary under any policy of accident or disability insurance or under accident or disability clauses attached to any policy of life insurance shall be exempt and free and clear from the claims of all creditors of such insured or such beneficiary and from all legal and judicial processes of execution, attachment, garnishment, or otherwise, up to a total amount of $1,000,000 per claim and subsequent award.
