551.01 ATTORNEY'S SUMMARY EXECUTION OF JUDGMENT DEBTS; WHEN AUTHORIZED. An attorney for a judgment creditor may execute on a money judgment by levying on indebtedness owed to the judgment debtor by a third party, pursuant to this chapter. The attorney for the judgment creditor must obtain a writ of execution issued under section 550.04 before the attorney can execute pursuant to this chapter. No more than $10,000 may be recovered by a single notice of execution levy pursuant to this section.
