600.06 BOOK ENTRIES BY A PERSON DECEASED. Entries made in any book by a person now dead authorized to make the same, may be received as evidence in a case proper for the admission of such book as evidence on proof that the same are in the deceased person's handwriting and in a book kept for such entries, without further verification.
