66A.01 SCOPE OF CHAPTER. This chapter shall apply to mutual insurance companies other than: assessment benefit associations, fraternal benefit societies, township mutual insurance companies and title insurers. Sections 66A.08 to 66A.311 do not apply to mutual life insurance companies. Sections 60A.07, subdivision 1, clauses (1) and (2); 66A.34; 66A.35; 66A.36; 66A.37; 66A.38; and 66A.39, do not apply to mutual property and casualty insurance companies.
