72A.503 PRIVATE REMEDIES. Subdivision 1. Liability. Any insurer, insurance agent, or insurance-support organization that violates sections 72A.49 to 72A.505 is liable to the aggrieved person for that violation to the same extent as civil remedies are otherwise allowed in section 13.08, subdivision 1, for violations of chapter 13, by a political subdivision, responsible authority, statewide system, or statewide agency. Subd. 2. Equitable relief. Upon application by an aggrieved person, a court of competent jurisdiction may grant equitable and declaratory relief as necessary to enforce the requirements of sections 72A.49 to 72A.505.
