626.847 COMPULSORY PROGRAM; EXEMPTIONS. Nothing contained in sections 626.841 to 626.863 shall be construed to exempt any peace officer from the provisions of sections 626.841 to 626.863, or to exempt a peace officer having received the peace officer's last permanent appointment as a peace officer prior to July 1, 1967.
